Fairtrade Filter Coffee

Fairtrade filter coffee is widely used around the world now as an alternative to others. The fairtrade foundation is a non profit organisation that was set up to monitor products around the world and make sure that the farmers of the crops get a fair deal for the products that they supply. The fairtrade foundation itself was established in 1992 by a number of registered charities and exists as a symbol for coffee suppliers to be proud to display.

Our Roasters are licensed by the Fairtrade Foundation to roast and pack “Fairtrade” coffee. This coffee will have the Fairtrade logo on the bag and the box.

To date, through the roasters alliance with the Fairtrade Foundation they have purchased Fairtrade certificated coffee from Peru, Colombia, Mexico, Honduras, Ecuador, Ethiopia, Guatemala and Bolivia. With the increasing success of the “Fairtrade” program, more coffee will become available and we will be able to use it in our “Fairtrade” blends.

Also available is organic coffee, from Honduras, Costa Rica, Peru, Colombia, Brazil, Indonesia, and Ethiopia. Although this is constantly being updated.

Rainforest alliance coffees are also available under the Rainforest Alliance accreditation from countries such as Guatemala, El Salvador, Costa Rica and Nicaragua.
