Automatic Coffee Machines
Automatic Coffee Machines are a common sight in today’s busy coffee marketplace. These machines are also sometimes known as super automatic coffee machines and drastically reduce the amount of work that the barista has to do in order to make a coffee for his/her customers. A good example of automatic coffee making equipment is Jura Coffee Machines and Franke Coffee Machines. Espresso machines can also be fully automatic or semi automatic but the term generally applies to bean to cup coffee makers. Whilst we at Karas Coffee believe that all these machines are excellent, we try to push the traditional espresso machine more.
The reason for this is that we believe that the customer enjoys the coffee more if they see the person putting some effort into making the drink for them and it also adds an element of theatre to it. (Dependant on the staff member)
Although we feel this way about Espresso Machines, we still understand the need for Automatic coffee machines and are highly impressed by some of the modern coffee makers out there to date.
There has always been a great debate within the coffee industry itself; does coffee taste as good through an automatic coffee machine as through a traditional espresso machine?
This debate has gone on for years and some die hard espresso fans will tell you that definitely not, however we at Karas coffee are undecided after hearing that one of the top coffee roasters in the uk did a blind taste test between the two and couldn't choose between them.
The future for coffee machines seems to be one of more complicated and more technical coffee makers for our pleasure and we are glad to say that we will always try and keep up to date with them.
